Al Gabbiano

We fancied some pasta in Bardolino and this restaurant had pretty good reviews on Yelp. We visited in the quiet season so it wasn't very busy but we were greeted with a warm welcome. We had Bruschetta and ham/melon to start which was great and very fresh. This was followed by our pasta dishes; ham and cheese tortellini and spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and chilli. Both pasta dishes were a little underwhelming, the flavours weren't the best but the pasta itself was well cooked. We felt a little rushed to leave but the staff were always friendly. I think this place would definitely be better in the high season.
