Wish I could give zero stars. I am so upset.

Hubs brought 2 burritos home for dinner the other night. His was meat and included under-cooked rice (again). It was like eating a mouthful of beans mixed with sand. My burrito was veggie. I'm not sure if it was the cheese or the veggies themselves but with one bite I could tell that something in my burrito had definitely gone off. With my stomach turning from the funny smell, I threw the burrito directly into the bin. I am confident that I narrowly avoided food poisoning.

It's disgusting and completely unacceptable when a kitchen doesn't bother checking the ingredients before serving them to the public. Sorry Bruno, but we are officially through.

Oh, the humanity. How many crimes can be inflicted on a burrito? I had a beef burrito of some description. The meat was stringy and chewy. The beans were slimy. The vegetables were...they just were. No sauce was added or offered. The wrap was put on the grill for the finishing touch and ended up tasting of old oil, and the contents of the burrito were cold inside anyway. Oh, and I was left standing at the counter for a couple of minutes before anyone came out from the back kitchen to serve me, despite making eye contact with me from there when I walked in. Oh, the burritosity!

If you have only 5 items that you can order on your menu, and they have pretty much the same ingredients except for different types of meat and one with vegetables, you would think it wouldn't be that hard to make.

On a Saturday night I ran to Bruno's in the cold to get me and the wife some quick dinner before heading out.  This is how it played out.

Me: 'Can I get a veggie burrito and a carnitas?

Guy: ' uuhhhhh no veggies, they look bad'

Me: 'they look bad? so you don't have any?'

    Guy: 'nope, sorry'

Me: 'well my wife is a vegetarian so, could you make some new ones really quick or do something for else?'

    Guy: 'uuuuuuuhhhhhhh no'

    I walked out immediately.

There's only FIVE slightly different types of burritos you can order!! How do you not have a little bit a vegetables ready? Or, is it so hard to fry up a few onions and green peppers in a few minutes?

This is a huge disappointment for me. The burritos are good and actually have some authentic flavors. It was freezing outside and ended up being a waste of time. I don't think main Brunos restaurant really cares much about it's burrito bar place. They aren't putting much effort into it and it shows, which is sad cause it could be great.
