Review from Laura C.
Dublin
One of three or four similar establishments that serve the usual fare of teas, coffees, painini and sandwiches in the Square. The service is fine, the food is grand, but the location is top of the class!
Settle down for an hour or two (the staff certainly won't hassle you) and watch the colourful, sometimes bizarre, but always entertaining Temple Bar patrons pass you by. Whether you're treated to buskers hawking the latest round of Celtic hits, laughing at tourists who can't even look at a map properly, or just mesmerised by that couple across the way who look like they have a major fight brewing, this is the perfect spot to people watch.
Not that I'm nosey or anything, I'm just saying this for the benefit of others who may enjoy such voyeurism. Not me. Obviously -

Cafe Vivaldi is a pretty uninspiring cafe, but due to its location attracts an unwarranted crowd.
Nothing special here, except for the fact that it's in the middle of Temple Bar. As Kate says, good for people watching, and the food is decent enough, but personally I'd like to see something a little more interesting in the middle of Dublin's tourist mecca. -

Dublin
Cafe Vivaldi, like Heavenly next door, is a pretty standard coffee and snack shack with outdoor seating on Temple Bar Square. The coffee is overpriced (location, location, location) and there is little to recommend about it overall aside from the prime people-watching position it prides itself on. If the sun is shining it's a pleasant spot, but go elsewhere otherwise.
