Clearance Bargains

If you're after bargains and you've got the time to browse, this is a great store. It's absolutely huge and full of old Argos stock at great prices. I don't know how the system works as some of the stock they have was in Argos six or seven years ago (where has it been in the meantime?) but it's well worth a look.


The items are good quality and have been well stored, but the shop can be very difficult to get around. There is just a massive amount of stock there, and it is often not clearly marked (plain brown boxes etc). So you may have to do some digging around, and keep your eyes peeled. You could miss some great stuff! I think the place could do with its own catalogue, but that's probably not viable considering they likely get daily deliveries of random old Argos stock.


So heartily recommended, but you have to go in with either a great amount of luck or a lot of time to really get the most out of it.

Argos clearance store that's packed with old stock. You won't know what they've got in until you get there, but there are some amazing bargains to be had if you've got the time to rummage! It's on a small retail estate next to the town centre and has a car park

Ex Argos shop with plenty of toys, TV's electrical etc

Bought a 19 inch telly and a recording freeview box really cheaply. Great place for bargains. Scruffy environment but the bargains make up for it.

3 TV's in one week. First one kept shutting down and switching back on by itself. Returned it was offered a refund or exchange so chose to exchange. Second TV had an annoying whistle coming from the back, Returned it, wouldn't refund as they couldn't hear the whistle in their noisy store or office. They only offered an exchange or a call out to my home. Dismayed we took a look round the store again. We found a new-in batch of Bush TVs which were in their original boxes and didn't look as if they had been repeatedly taped back up so we chose one of those. So far so good.
Tips..for buying from Clearance Bargains
1. Don't buy anything that comes in a plain brown box.
2. Don't buy expensive items from there
3. SellotapeIf there's lots of tape on the box, avoid avoid avoid!

i rate this place very highly as it is an argos clearance and there prices are very low ,starting from 5p up.you can get christmas sorted at the prices they charge and there are plenty of spaces to park.

i been here a few times and got mainly tv's, as its argos you know you are getting quality you just have to wait for the rightbargains. its annoying that you have to pay to park unless you buy something, espically if you cant find any bargains.

Great for cheap electrical goods! They even have an awesome special offer every hour that they announce throughout the day.

fantastic place. my home is full of bargains bought from this store, all working and of a high standard. they even answer the phone and check stock if you ask for specific items. some items are still in the argos book. even bought of internet.

this is a superb place to shop inside they sell ex argos catalogue stock all reduced in price. its quite a big place staff are friendly. some items are just left in brown boxes so you will have to open some up to see what they are. it is well worth studying everything in here as they really do brilliant bargains. i brought a large box of wwe stuff once inside they had 6 wwe figures a wwe belt wwe ring microwphone etc stuff that was worth 100 pounds and all i paid was 20 pounds but it didnt say what was inside the box you had to open it up to see inside this is why i say look in the boxes. the only thing i dont like in here is you cant pack your stuff up at the till you have to carry it all to the door on the way out especially if you have lots of things then a man puts a stamp on the reciept and gives you some bags. this stamp is important as its a 12 months gauranteee to the items you have brought. i dont recall seeing any trolleys although i might of not looked propley the carpark is large sometimes it is hard to find a space. but overall its worth visiting if your a bargain seeker hope this helps.
