This little Eason store in the middle of Dun Laoghaire is like the forgotten ugly older brother who has been exiled to the suburbs to work its hands to the bone without ever meeting its more popular and handsome siblings.
In all my years this place has never changed, the stalls have never been moved and inch... the layout is the same, the books may even be the same... upstairs you can find a range of art supplies and a vast array of cards and stationary. This place is ground zero for back to school supplies! Down the back of the main floor you will find every magazine under the sun and plenty of other bits and bobs.
A great thing about Eason is that they are also a wholesalers so their prices are nearly always way down and the books are always in stock!
This is a great place for the hustle and bustle and right beside the bus stop ... always tempting to nip in for a chocolate bar... or a pack of chewing gum if you haven't the change for the bus!
