I really like this gym, they have really good classes. Honestly the Maintenance needs a lot of work, the girls locker rooms are disgusting and the gym itself needs to be remodeled. The gym opens to late in the morning and closes to early at night. It would be nice if the gym opened early so I could go to the gym early before school starts at 9am. Other then that I still have a good experience going to workout even though it needs some work to make the gym a better place to workout. The good thing about this gym is that when you go on vacation and you turn in your membership card the gym will add on the extra days to your year membership every time you go out of town. You definitely get your money's worth, in a away and I like they way they run things even though it needs some work. I hope the gym makes some changes and hopefully will get better in time. I recommend going here for the classes you won't regret coming! So I think this gym deserves a 3 start.

Over priced, over crowded, out dated cardio equipmemt and very cliquie!!!. I think the management need to go out of the Nice boundaries and see what a REAL gym is about starting from the front desk, I often get a blank stare when I walk in and say good morning and same when I leave...(french customer service right?) The vestiaires/showers are disgusting,no complimentary towels (they'd prob be infected anyway) I prefer to walk home red and sweaty than put my feet in those cabines.
In January 2012, 1 of 6 running machines broke down, followed by 2 others, in June 1 of them had still not been repaired. I suppose with equipment that old it's bound to happen but 6 months to repair is a joke. The place is small, you're pretty much on top of each other and there is a "group" of people (you know the ones that get their hair and make up done to go work out) that consider themselves the be all and end all of Espace Wellness and monopolize ALL the good spots in the classes or save machines for each other. I'm not even going to mention the guys that think they're great because they're lifting 25kg....oops I just did!
Having bagged the hell outta this place you are probably wondering why I go!
The classes are fantastic, the best that I've been to around here. The instructor are all Mills trained so it's intense and they keep an eye out. They are super motivating and there is a great variety. Only thing is some classes are over packed (body pump/zumba) to the point of no more equipment or space but if you get there a little early there's no problem.
There's a jacuzzi and sauna and a small pool where they do aqua-gym.
So in the end I think the classes are worth it, the cardio section is usable during the low hours and a sauna is nice, best thing for me is it's on the way home from my child's school so it's convenient.
