I booked online through yelp with ease for a last minute cut while passing through the City.
Taku took great care of me, as I wasn't feeling well. He gave me on if the best cuts of my life. His attention to detail was exceptional! I enjoyed talking to him about life in Japan, and he enjoyed hearing about my quirky American ways.
Totally give this salon a shot.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe E.Los Angeles, United States73112 Dec 2009
This was the best haircut of my entire life. Included was a head massage, styling advice, green tea. and the opening of my personal file where, presumably, the idiosyncrasies of my noggin are recorded in the scientific pursuit of cosmetic perfection.
I'm thinking of moving to London just so I can get my hair cut here every month.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Qype User (nienie…)London, United Kingdom232324 Nov 2008
Love love love this Japanese hairdressers, been to them a few times now and love every experience!
Everytime I go, I get my hair washed, a head massage, haircut, refreshments, a neck and shoulder massage and a little trinket, all for £35.
Taiki is the guy who normally cuts my hair and whenever I describe what I want, he's quick to understand and cuts my hair perfectly everytime.

Without doubt Eton Crop is the best salon I have ever been to. I have been coming here regularly for three years, and will be sad to say goodbye to this place when I move away from London. The service is impeccable, the stylists are extremely skilled and professional, and the extra touches (like the head massages and small gifts when you leave) make this place so special. They even keep hand-drawn sketches of how they cut and style your hair for future reference. I always see Tomomi, although everyone seems excellent. I can't recommend this place more highly.

I went here just by chance really. This place is awesome. You might be a little scared at first by the fact that most of the people there don't speak the best english, but don't be. I told my stylist what I wanted and while I was getting my hair washed (which was amazing btw), she went and found several pictures of what she thought I wanted just to double check. She gave me the best haircut I've ever gotten - for 36 pounds! This is a steal in Bloomsbury. The head massage during the shampoo process and the free shoulder rub at the end are just icing on the cake.

Having moved to London recently, I was in desperate need of bleaching my roots. I came here on a friend's recommendation, and I am very happy with my result. They know how to bleach and tone Asian hair right. They also give you a really nice head and shoulder massage.

Etin Crop is a small Japanese hair salon right next to the British Museum. The customer service is exceptional, the guy who cut my hair took his time discussing what I wanted. They also gave me magazines to flip through to choose a haircut.
The haircut was great, and he did exactly what I wanted him to.
In the tradition of Japanese salons, they give you a shoulder massage at the end.
My haircut was with a senior stylist and cost £43.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (krissy…)Watford, United Kingdom2723 Jul 2009
Visited this hairdressers after I read the previous review. Have been to many Japanese hairdressers in Japan and this one comes very close to the service there. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed with the service. First, a consultation about what hairstyle I wanted, was shown some hair mags. Then, hair wash with relaxing head massage. Then, took a lot of time to cut my hair exactly right. Next, dried my hair and cut some more. After, second hair wash. Then, an exhilerating head and shoulder massage. Blow dried my hair, paid and they gave me a little gift as I left feeling gorgeous and pampered for £40. Definitely returning!!!
