The food was fine. The owner though - way too aggressive. He would physically pick up the food and put it into each of our mouths, chastise us for eating things in the wrong order multiple times, and just couldn't take no for an answer. He said he used to be a salesman and it comes across. Maybe some people found this charming but we were uncomfortable and it took away from the enjoyment of the meal. If I want to dip my falafel in the tzatziki, please leave me be. If I don't want arak or I just want one glass of wine, leave it alone. It's awkward being spoken down to in a restaurant in front of your spouse.

We couldn't wait to leave. 2 stars because the food was decent, but if you want to have a quiet, romantic dinner and not look over your shoulder every few minutes, go elsewhere. Probably fine for takeaway food. Staff all spoke good English.

We were kicked out for entering after 9pm (9:20) and asking nicely for a menu. We still don't understand, first time i see such a rudeness out of nowhere. Hopefully we were just ones of many others treated better.

Finger-looking good! We had the mezze royale, which included 6 hot plates and 6 cold plates. Amazing baba!

Be sure to finish up with the baklava--probably the best I've had in my life. Way less sweet than the sickly sweet ones you can find elsewhere.

What an amazing place to go to !
We accidentally bumped into this place while doing a tour in the city of Grenoble in southern France. The restaurant's owner warmly welcomed us and made us taste a variety of "meza" dishes before taking our order, which was yum !. We ordered several dishes was really mouthwatering, the Falafel were crunchy and tasted like heaven ! The Baba Ghanouj and the Hummus were freshly made by the chef right in front of us. The roasted chicken was full of flavor and lebanese spices. Everything in life has a great ending, but the dessert that we had over there was to die for! The owner was laughing every time we shouted "Oh my god !", he was such a sweetheart. I have to say that this place made me fall in love with the Lebanese cuisine, so I often now go to Lebanese restaurants in Los Angeles, but so far none of the restaurants that I've been to, tasted as good or as freshly made.
Whoever goes there, would know exactly what I mean :) I'll definitely try to go there again when I'm on tour next year !
