For the visiting tourist, Four Lanterns means nothing. However, once you walk through the doors, you find yourself in Ireland's very own McDonald's, complete with quirky little idiosyncrasies. This means people asking for a 'chip' singular when you're used to asking for 'chips' and weird things like 'taco sauce' which seems to have been nowhere near a taco.
Anyway, standard fodder is dished up - burgers, fries and all that great greasy junk to soak up a night's booze.
Come the evening, this place is absolutely rammed and, this particular branch, seems a little too small to deal with the numbers through the door.
That said, I found the whole experience rather fun and a nice change from the usual 'get 'em in, get 'em out' action you have in England.
Something of a legend and... well... it lived up to expectation.
