The "French burger" wasn't bad - a hamburger with foie gras can't really be bad. Huge menu. Nutty decor. Much like every restaurant in the square.
They are probably there for the tourist trade in the summer. I bet. That said, it was a decent first-night in Cognac meal when you just need food and then want to go to bed.
