It was a hostel, nothing fancy. Beds were comfy. Lots of blankets. Shower would turn off every minute, kind of annoying. Bring a towel. The room had lockers. Enough outlets for everyone to charge their stuff. Place was pretty clean. Door locks were a bit weird to get used to, not something you can easily open if you've had a few beers.

There seemed to always be people hanging out front. I was with a large group for one night, so we didn't spend a lot of time there. Not a bad place to stay for a stopover.

I stayed one night. It wasn't a bad experience. I can't say much about my stay other than my bunk bed was next to the bathroom so I made sure to face my feet closer to the bathroom and my head away from it.

I had random drunk people knocking on my door in the middle of the night trying to find their room and that was pretty annoying.

If you do plan on staying here, bring your essential toiletries and a sleeping mask must.

Would I return for another stay? Probably not.

Let me tell you a story about a college kid's first chance of visiting the wonderful land of Germany. Or wait, he's stuck in his room because his friends cannot come over after 10pm, he can't leave his room after midnight, and he isn't allowed to his lawful right of consuming beverages in a private room. Not only this, but the staff are discriminatory to those who don't sprechen Deutsch bitte, seeking them out and stifling their dreams of European adventure. I would post a longer message but the wifi......oh there it is it.......kinda makes you wish you weren't on the supposed adventure of your lifetime because you can't tell anyone about it. Sorry mom, you'll find out if I'm alive when you see me at the airport cause I can't contact you......

There are a few things quite intriguing about this hostel. Despite the fact that there are 3 bunk beds (6 beds in total) in a room, there are only two outlets -- one next to the door and one in the bathroom. I'm positive the bunk beds were hand-me- downs from a local prison. No scratch that. This hostel was once a prison and you can definitely feel the ambience walking down these long, windowless, dreary, miserable, desolate hallways. This place honestly seems to suck the life away from any individual.

If you plan on staying here, make sure to be acquainted with the hostel's rules and conventions:
      1) No private drinking in your own rooms. You must remove any alcoholic beverages/ containers or else they force and watch you throw them away yourself. For instance, friends and I were collecting souvenirs to bring back home and they forced us to throw them away.
      2) guests are NOT allowed in your room past 10pm...or else the residential security will personally escort them out. This also applies to friends living in the room next door.
      3) They operate a club in the basement that allows children/ minors and up.

If you are above the age of 12, I highly recommend NOT staying at this Hostel. It is in fact a hostel for youths so its rules are only meant for such individuals. Otherwise, the people who work here utterly strip away your character by treating you like a minor.

Checked in only to arrive to a room that had an extreme smell of cigarettes. Didn't complain as I don't like to make a commotion. The next day I checked out and went to the airport for my flight. Flight was canceled, I called back to book a room again, gave credit card details and was charged. As I was heading back I received an incredibly rude abrupt call saying they were refusing to let me stay here because the room smelled not only of smoke but "marijuana" and that it's forbidden and I'm not welcome there. 1.Where would I find marijuana in a city I've been in for 1 day 2.I DID NOT SMOKE IN THE ROOM. They wouldn't even allow me to explain that it wasn't me and hung up the phone. There are very few places to stay in Munich as many are closing there doors due to the pandemic. Not only was my flight canceled but I was left with no where to stay. This was an awful experience, I'm not sure if it was due to racism or just an extremely unprofessional establishment. I want my money back for the 2nd night booking that I was refused. And I HIGHLY recommend that people DO NOT stay here unless you want to be abruptly thrown on the street for no reason of your own.
