MBTs are those funny looking space shoes with the massive bouncy soles, sported mostly by women in suits walking to and from the office (with the heels stowed in the handbag for a quick pre-work change).
Personally I think they are completely ridiculous looking, but apparently they do wonders for your posture and muscle tone. Based on the "Masai Barefoot Technology", the rounded sole takes the pressure off your joints, as if walking in sand.
This is the first dedicated shop of its kind in Dublin. The shoes are crazy expensive, but this outlet has a 30% off sale at the moment, bringing the price down to only (!) €160. -

Now, I like a chunky sole as much as the next person, but this is taking it to extremes.
This shop sells MBTs, boat-like shoe/runners that reputedly help improve your muscle tone as you go about your daily life. That's the key part, really - your daily life. People are going to see you in these things. In a meeting, you bang the table to make a vital point, stand back up again triumphant - and then slowly start to rock back and forth. You will have no dignity. But you may have toned calves.
