After spending 4.5 of the wee hours in the St James A&E waiting room I needed to get home and quick. I remembered a cab firm on James Street that was called radio cabs or something. A quick google and I found NRC. Called and booked with their pleasant operator, the taxi was outside in less than five mins. The driver already up to speed with my details got me home without any fuss. Just what I needed after a shitty night in a hospital waiting room.
First time giving feedback, but this is out of frustration. I booked a taxi through the new APP, on St Stephens night, the collection was from from my house, so no confiusion of some person on the road. I got a confirmation and booking ref. I was watching the guy on the realtime mapping. He stopped one road away from my house, then disappeared into the sunset. Despite three emails to NRC I have yet to receive any reply !
NRC dont keep promoting the app, if you cannot provide the service !
Friendly reliable cab service which is situated in central Dublin. The drivers tend to be a bit grumpy and I don't know whether this is because they are used to dealing with clueless tourists but it definitely spoils the quality of service provided. Also, the drivers from this cab firm tend to drive very fast so always wear a seatbelt, other than that they get the job ok.
Always on time and always pleasant, National Radio Cabs is good number to have stored in your phone. They also offer an online booking service which is useful to both businesses and individuals.
