    Absolutely love this place.

I come in once every year or so. You DO need a pass to go in, unless you are an employee at Nike and have passes for yourself and friends.

They have great deals, most everything in the store is 50% off from what regular retail would sell it for!

Their selection is not a very wide range, but it is certainly good enough to blow a couple hundred dollars out from your wallet. This includes not having all sizes at whatever time you go.

Every time I come here, I always find something I want. Getting gifts here is a great way to not only get a spectacular gift, but also to save some money while you're at it!

The employees are always super willing to help any/all customers when needed. Always patient and always kind.

I was just here with my Dad it was 12:01pm and had a flight at PDX @ 1:30pm upon check-in I mentioned to "Brandon" I was in a time sensitive situation and he was Amazingly efficient at his job and patient with my Dad who's 80+ (Limited Mobility) once inside the atmosphere was a little hectic but that was also my internal clock reminding me I had a flight in an Hr. The selection is extremely diverse: running, skate, surf, school (O & OS) apparel was all available in all sizes. Check-out was a little more time consuming than the check in but at 50% off and no tax well worth it, an OVERALL 5/5 stars for Customer Service (Brandon), Selection, pricing & overall layout for limited mobility. (TIP) for 1st time shoppers/vendors have all your information and ID out and ready to expedite the check in process!

P.S. I made my flight by 3min  (Had to check an Extra 2 bags at the gate tho)

Just read the reviews below, this place is great. It's not like Adidas or Columbia's employee store where you can get a pass pretty easily. They also will not let you go back in the store for exchanges or returns so make sure you take your time while you are in the store trying stuff on.

Pro-tip: Start in the back with the shoes first. This way you'll get that out of the way and get you spendy items in your bag before you hit up the dri fit etc. I've made the mistake of going the other way and I always end up with more than I had originally budgeted to spend.

50% off retail.  No sales tax. Are you kidding? I'm so there.   After discovering that you need a guest pass in order to enter the building, I knew I had to act fast trying to get hooked up with someone affiliated with Nike.

More specifically,  you have to know someone who is employed by Nike Co. so they can list you as a guest at the Nike Employee Store. They do check your ID as well.

You better believe Chel miraculously made it happen!

Seven pairs of shoes+three workout tanks+five tees+three shorts=two hours.  Not bad at all!

I'm coming back next year again!

So thankful to have the opportunity to shop at the employee store. This is my third time there with the fam and it is a favorite destination for us when we're in the area.

Most items are half price and on trend for the season. The shoe department is large and you can find Jordans in 2-3 isles as well as running shoes in at least 3 isles.

The women's section is small with a wide variety dedicated to running wear, while the men's section is generous with more diverse  athletic wear. There is also a youth and young athlete area. Generally, it was difficult to find women's size medium.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Note, no exchanges - returns only and only at the employee store, over 30 days unworn with tag. If worn, a return is still accepted under 30 days!

Highly recommend a major shopping spree!

This is one of my favorite places to shop. Half price on new Nike clothing, shoes, and products. Shoes! You do need a pass and ID to enter. We have friends that work at Nike so we are thankful to be able to have access to this store. It gets busy, especially before Christmas. I love this place!

Beaverton, OR: Everything is fifty percent off guaranteed. The service is fantastic - they didn't have my size, ordered it from another warehouse, and got it to me in twenty minutes. Though the store closed at five, they never announced the store was closing and continued to help us until we checked out at 5:35 pm. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and I got very detailed comparisons between two running shoes I was thinking of getting.

The only reason I give it four stars is that you can still get cheaper and more heavily discounted items in other stores that sell Nike items.

I was fortunate enough to get some guest passes from a Nike Employee. They check your driver's license and a list in order for you to get passage. If you don't have a guest pass or you are not an employee of Nike-you won't be able to enter.

I would recommend getting there a little early as a line can form and especially if there is a release date shoe. Another thing to know is that they used to have a limit on spending but now it's unlimited!!!

So yeah they basically have everything you might want. I was personally surprised that they had Nike Tech Fleece. One disappointing thing as a guest is that some items might be black badge only for certain employees to have the ability to buy special products-this could include certain retro jordans or even Kobes. I think I spent over 2 hours in the store and spent over a grand (mostly on gifts for others). I love Oregon especially because of no sales tax! So that was really awesome. At the end you can pay the store to ship the items to your house in case you can't carry it home (however this can also result in paying sales tax).

    THIS PLACE IS FREAKING AWESOME.

I give the Nike employee star a 4 purely because of the lack of selection for the ladies! The children had more of an option then the women did. The men's section was more then a 5 star on my scale. The majority of the store was men's wear. The service was a 5 star. Kacey who checked us out was great. Going later in the day was a good idea because we didn't have to wait in line at all for anything.

I'm hardly a mathematical mastermind, but surely there must be some sort of formula to express the experience of visiting the Nike Company Store. Maybe something like:

    (x / 2) * 2 * y unless y = b in which case, (x / 2) * 4 * b

The first part of this formula, (x / 2), represents the cost of product--meaning everything is half price (more or less). The second part of the formula, * 2, represents the amount you will spend, i.e. twice as much as you intended. Y represents the number of people in your party. That is unless y = b with b being a 15 year old boy. In that case, you will spend four times the amount you intended.

It all adds up to a shocking amount of money--and a lot of fun.

Let's dispense with the basics first. This is the Nike employee store. It is not open to the public. However, the public can get access to it if they have a connection to a Nike employee. I cannot emphasize this enough: Make friends with a Nike employee. Better yet, become one or marry one. But, be prepared to live near the poverty line because shopping at this store is so fun that you'll literally choose new KD7 Premium 'Aunt Pearl' basketball shoes over bread for your kid's lunch.

Once through security you enter the store and the first thing that strikes you is the contrast to a Niketown. This store features none of the razzle-dazzle of a traditional store--and that's a very good thing. Instead, it's a medium sized warehouse, apparel in the front and shoes in the back. Did I say shoes? I mean SHOES! Row upon row, divided by activity such as fitness, running, golf, etc. Unless you have a specific shopping list, narrowing down your selection can be an agonizing, hours long process, because you want them all and let's be honest, at half price, you deserve them all (refer back to my formula above).

    Kid in a candy store.

Shopping for apparel is every bit as exhilarating as for shoes and since it takes up even less space in your cart, even more dangerous. Yes in fact, you do need new running shorts in three different colors. And compression shorts. And Tights.

    And...and...and...

    Well you get the idea.

The entire shopping experience is made even more magical thanks to the team of associates working the floor. Over the course of my ~2 hours in the store I probably spoke to 7 different associates and every single one of them was friendly, engaged, knowledgeable and helpful. Three different employees, however, really made my shopping trip memorable.

Fish is a wonderfully friendly guy who, on three different occasions went to the back stockroom to try to find a size for me. I can't remember the last time a sales associate gave me a high five but his energy and enthusiasm was infectious.

Jana showed an above and beyond interest in not just what we were looking for but why as well. I particularly loved watching the ASL conversation she had with my son who is a first year ASL student. She personifies everything Nike represents.

The day previous I went through a Safeway checkout line and the cashier couldn't even be bothered to say hello. Contrast that with Lori who was friendly, engaging and even charming as she checked us out. The several minutes we spent visiting while she rang up our purchases helped to deflect the shock of how much we were actually spending.

Being able to visit the Nike Company Store is a true treat...the store, the merchandise, the people. Congratulations Nike. Exceptional all the way around.

This is a Nike fan's dream come true! All the latest in-season gear for 50% off retail and no sales tax! Allow yourself at least two hours to look around this store because it it huge with a ton of selection. Employees are knowledgeable and real nice and helpful.

The only minor complaints is that some of the sizes and colors for certain shoes could be limited and it can get really crowded in the store because of the great deals.

Other than that, be prepared to spend at least double of what you thought you would spend because the deals are that good!

Had a friend of a friend who helped me to get in. Drove from Seattle to Beaverton 180miles about three hours. Got to the store on Saturday around 2PM, no lines to get in but store had some 150 ppl in. Everybody shopping as crazy :)
Some selections are bit weak but some good stuff too.
Shopped about two hours got goodies worth $1890 paid $945 and no tax. I think it is a good deal :)
Could've gotten same items during Holiday sale or some other sale for about same price but always wanted to see this place since heard many good things.
In my opinion this place is average and does not make huge difference if you can keep and eye for good sale.
That been said I didn't hesitate to leave my $945 for an exchange of some nice stuff :)
Would recommend to go on new shoes release dates.

The best thing about the Nike employee store (after the huge discount of course) is the staff. Everyone who's there is sincerely, authentically, awesomely friendly. When I go I literally spend hours shopping. The only drawback is that the dressing room is really really small...so sometimes you're waiting a while in line (especially during the holiday shopping season).

Died and went to Nike heaven.

Getting a pass for this place is like winning a lotto ticket so if you ever get the opportunity to visit Nike's employee store...TAKE IT and don't look back. I went on Monday morning at 9:30am and we were the first ones there - no line at all. So if you can then I would visit Monday - Wednesday right when they open to avoid lines. DO NOT COME HERE ON THE WEEKENDS. My boyfriend and I spent about 3 hours here making our rounds all over the store to make sure we didn't miss anything. We both love Nike and we were both genuinely shocked how much new gear they had. They had the free flyknit 4.0 multicolor which I was surprised to fine and they were only $60 (we bought 8 of them lol). Everything is half off and tax free (thanks Portland)!!!

The employees are extremely friendly and helpful as well. I had a couple of lists and they were more than happy to help me find the items on my lists. It's easy to drop a ton of money here, but when will you get a chance to get new Nike gear for 50% off and tax free again (unless you work here)? I heard that there's a limit on some of the passes of $750. My boyfriend spent $800 and I spent $900 so I'm not sure if that limit still applies (thank goodness it didn't). Ahh I miss this place already and can't wait to visit again!!!

Everything is 50% off and it's tax free too!!  It's not just the older or defective merchandise like the factory stores. it's all the latest and newest things.

Basketball, football, skate, surf, snowboard (although reportedly losing this next year), running, etc. Has it all. Lots of clothes and lots of shoes. Not to mention official NFL merchandise. Not just Seahawks either. Lot of Ducks and Beavers merchandise too.

Like I said, like you died and gone to Nike heaven...

But get everything the first time. They will not let you in again. You CAN NOT exchange items. You can return items but cannot go back in to exchange it.

Customer service is also quite good. Sometimes when it gets crazy busy it can be hard flagging someone down... but usually really friendly and helpful.

Try going in here and only spend a couple of Benjamins.... I dare you!

At first glance, this store looks like a normal Nike Store, even Nike Outlet Store.  What's really neat about it is, you get Outlet like prices however it's all new gear.  Full disclosure, I don't work for Nike and I'm not Nike Brand Brainwashed but I have to say I do enjoy my Nike gear hear and there.  They are definitely innovators and trend setters.  I can definitely see why some people don't like their designs though, some can certainly be a bit too loud and off-putting.  Regardless, this store is really cool and very efficiently run.  It's just too bad, even when you go in there with a guest pass, you still feel like you're entering a government building because of all the questions you get!

The reason why the BF and I took a trip to Portland was to shop at the Nike Employee Store (NES). You either have to be a Nike employee to get in or know someone with Nike who can get you in.

I was lucky and I didn't have to wait in the guest line that was ridiculously long and wasn't let in until 10:30am. I was able to enter the store through the employee line at 9:00am. I got all my shopping done by the time they let everyone else in. I'm a lucky girl!

The NES is huge. The back half of the store is all shoes. The front left is women's and the front right is men's. Kids and golfing accessories are in the middle. I came prepared with a list and with the help of the employees; I was able to cross almost every item on my list. Most of the items are marked 50% off, with a few being 30% depending on what the item was.

Since Oregon is a no tax State, I went crazy and spent an even $1,500 at NES. I walked out with about 20 pairs of shoes, boxes of golf balls, and lots of workout gear for myself and my family. If you are not sure if you should buy something or not, just buy it. It's such a great deal and if you're not from Portland or if you know you won't be back soon, you will kick yourself later. Trust me!

The employees at NES were very helpful and I was constantly greeted and asked if I needed help. Without their help, it would have taken me forever to find the shoes on my list.

NES can ship the items you buy. It depends on how many items you buy to determine the price. For example the more you buy, the more it will cost you. Shipping does include sales tax and that is determined by your State. I had already dropped over a thousand so I didn't want to pay extra and tax to ship back home to California so I decided to package it in my hotel instead.

NES is a great store with very helpful employees. I am so happy I got to check this place out and if you're lucky, you may be able to check this place out too!

I'm a Nike girl. I like how the clothing looks and the material is usually of good quality. The Employee Store (now referred to as "The Company Store") has the newest items at half the price. What is not to like? Just don't go at the end of the month. Employees have passes that they can give out to Friends/Family and seems like a lot of them wait until the end of the month to use up the passes. I personally don't like crowds, so I hated how many people were there this past Saturday (the 28th). Still managed to buy a bunch of goodies. I can't really justify buying those items, since I needed none of them, but they are mine now.

There is a $750 limit for the pass. Married couples living at the same address are allowed to share one pass.

It's something magical about coming here, jeez its magical period just knowing you have a "golden ticket" to this place - its that amazing.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgable about the Nike brand and product, overall great selection from the latest models, but sizes may go quick especially if you are a S or XS (like me). Overall, very fun place to visit if you ever get the "golden ticket," one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. Thanks Nike :)

    Wow!!

After collecting sneakers since 2002, I came to Oregon for a wedding and had the privilege (through a brother in law) to visit the employee store. We checked in grabbed a shopping cart and quickly filled it... seriously. They had all the latest footwear releases (kobe ix, LeBron elite, KD elite) at 50% off MSRP. They pretty much had a full size run on all footwear and clothing. Customer service was superb. 2 hours went by way too fast (had to go to OMSI). I spent $1,561.00 on:

Kobe IX, Lebron XI, KD Elite, SB Dunks, Roshe,  Flyknit free, shoes for my kids, shoes for my wife, clothes.

Paid $55 for shipping to Chino Hills, CA.

    Would absolutely come back again.

    Thank you Phil Knight.

Getting a ticket in to this place is like winning the lotto. We (me, my bf, and my bro) got in through our cousin who works at converse. She definitely shot up through the ranks of favorite family members ;D

We got to the check-in area where me and my brother got in easily with our IDs. However my cousin put my bfs Facebook name down on the list, which is totally incorrect. So when he showed the employee his ID she gave him mini-heart attacks debating on whether or not she should let him in even though his name on the list did not match his ID. And through a little lawyering he got in!!!  So FYI your name on the list has to match your ID. No fake Facebook names.

So my bf and brother had a field day here because all the shoes--which are new releases are 50% off. They got Lebrons for 100 bucks. Since there is no sales tax here in good ol Oregon their savings totaled 120 bucks. I came out with lunarglides for 55 bucks (which is great because I only run in lunarglides) and fly knits for 75 bucks.

Even though everything is half off if you're looking for something other than shoes it could still be expensive. I got running tights for 60 bucks even though they're regularly 120. These better make me run faster. But honestly if I didn't get into this store id be happy getting my running gear from old navy and target.  I work out in Hanes undershirts. I think I just picked up the running gear because I was there and it was half off. I also got a couple of compression tights for 21 bucks--normally 42 bucks in stores AND at the outlets. i also got packs of 3-pair socks for 9 dollars each. I had to talk myself out of a lot of stuff like a Nike SB backpack for 50 bucks.  If you think you can buy shoes then return them at another Nike, know that they stamp the tag and the box. But they dont do this for the clothing.

This was the highlight of our trip! We've been hearing about the great Nike employee store forever and we were so happy to get in!  We won't be so happy when we get our credit card statements...

Overall, great place for buying new shoes! If you're looking for work out clothes and aren't really a Nike brand hoe then you'll end up spending a lot more than you would have if you had never came to this store. (that makes sense right?)

I have been putting off buying any new workout clothes this past year because 1) I already have a lot (but that's not going to stop me from buying more!) and 2) have been waiting to go to this store. I needed a new pair of shoes for marathon training and you can't beat 50% off the latest Nike shoes out in the market. I got a little overwhelmed with the many options and definitely exercised restraint. I could have easily looked like a contestant on Supermarket Sweep if I had no budget constraints. Got a pass via the Timbers Army club and went here for the first time recently.  Came away unimpressed.  Now I'm not an exercise or workout freak but this place really didn't have a whole lot that piqued my interest.  A lot of the top workout clothes, even at 50% off were still fairly pricey and none of the shoes were all that appealing.  Maybe it was all the highlighter-neon colors that turned off this all-black-everything soul.  Which I guess is a matter of personal taste but either way, I found way more shoes I liked at the Adidas Employee Store.

And I expected it to be this way too but the Duck section is pathetic.  No jerseys, barely any Duck-related athletic apparel...just some shirts, shorts and crappy jackets.  You can buy better ones at the Duck Store.  Not a lot of it was on sale either. I get that Duck merch is at a premium right now and Nike, being mega-corporation wants to squeeze every dollar they can out of it, but the Ducks are one of their top brands and to have such a paltry selection is sad.  Even the Seahawks had tons of jerseys and apparel there.  Sure they won the Super Bowl, but it flat-out dwarfed any of the college apparel.  And none of their stuff was on sale either.  Once again...I get it, but they might want to tell people that.  Going to the Adidas store they straight-up told us at the door that the Blazer stuff wasn't on sale.  Whatever.

I got a pair of shorts, a shirt and a water bottle for $38 and left.  Didn't really feel like much of a bargain.  Maybe I'm just not the right audience.  Or maybe the place just seemed like a dumping ground for all the stuff Nike needs to get rid of.

    1 check-in

    Its a dream come true!!
There used to be a limit but they supposedly got rid of it recently!
I luckily went on a Wednesday and Thursday with no huge lines. If you're a guest the line gets very long at times. If you're an employee you have a separate entrance and checkout.
They don't have everything but they have a lot. If they don't have your size on the floor just ask an employee and they'll check their warehouse.

I am writing this review for 2 reasons.

One, Evan M. in the checkout line was a really nice guy. He went through the process of asking if we found everything okay. We also had a small chat about how we were on vacation and told us some places we should visit before leaving, super nice guy and good customer service.

The second reason I am leaving this review is to talk about Brandon(pretty sure thats his name). He was the receptionist that greeted us and he was extremely rude. We walked in with bags from the Adidas store and he said that he couldn't hold them for us. Not only did he tell us that, he tried to make us feel small in the process like he was shocked that we shop other places besides the Nike store. I honestly felt like he was joking at first because he came off so aggressive. I work in a customer service job and I try hard to make sure that every customer is treated with respect and Brandon did not do that. He seemed like a bouncer that is trying to make sure we knew how much power he had. I mean, I get that it's their competitor but all you have to do is tell me that you don't allow Adidas bags in the store and let it be, you don't have to be a jerk about it.

Overall my experience was pretty good. Everyone was very helpful, all people inside the store were super nice, and Evan (the checkout guy) really cool with me and my girlfriend. As for Brandon at the front, I think he should go through some customer service classes.

This place is heaven to people like me, Nike fanatics.
This is the first time I have ever been here and I have to say it is amazing, very wide selection of shoes, like a huge selection! I was disappointed with the selections of cleats though. It's nice how they also carry converse (they have a lot of them).
