Pat Toolan Bookmakers

One of two bookies near each other in the Fairview/Marino area, this is almost a local secret, tucked away as it is on St Aidan's Park Road. Like all Irish bookmakers, it is situated not too far from a pub - in this case Kavanagh's on the Malahide Road.

For those that like to keep their gambling real, Toolan's is independent of the big bookmaking conglomerates operating today. Staffed largely by helpful female staff, it is user friendly (if like me) you're a bit of a novice when it comes to the horses/X Factor/the next pope etc.
