After the Eagle Centre Primark closed, Derby was without a budget clothes shop that was worth visiting until Primark opened in a new location in summer 2008. On my first visit, I was amazed at the size of the place. Located in the old Marks & Spencers, Primark boasts 3 floors. The first floor contains womens clothes, bags and accessories. Second floor contains mens clothes, shoes and accessories as well as womens underwear. Third floor has shoes and childrens clothes. I soon spent a lot in there & clothes tend to last a long time!
The only gripe I do have about Primark is the lack of customer service, ironically, on the customer services desk. The one staff member I have encountered was rude and sarcastic, but compared to the mountains of cheap clothes I have got from the place, I don't expect good customer service.

I have never yet been to Primark and left without buying something! It goes without saying that their prices are famously low, but since some of the fashion magazines have started mentioning Primark fashions, they have become even more popular.

It's worth noting that they change their stock quite often, so if you go in one week and don't find anything you like, it's always worth another visit in a week or so, because they will have new items in stock. Unfortunately this also means that the popular items (in the popular sizes) get sold out very quickly - I've lost count of the number of times I've spotted a bargain item only to find they just have sizes 8 and 18 left, and nothing in between.

The store is very large, spread over 3 floors, so there is something for everyone. The shop can get a bit messy sometimes, but I think this is to be expected in a store as popular and busy as Primark.

Primark is in the centre of derby, just up from the square and it is one of my favourite fashion shops.

      Derby Primark has 3 floors:

      0:women's clothing only.
      1st:men's clothing and women's lingerie
2nd: Children's clothing and home ware.

There are literally hundreds of staff in this primark and they are typical primark employees, young and very mixed nationality. They aren't really that friendly at all and seem to chat more than work.

Since opening, this has become one of Derby's most popular shops, especially amongst youngsters because they sell fashion clothing at very low prices and i am also a bit obsessed.

This store is always busy. I like the fact it has 3 floors but i prefer the range in nottingham primark.

This is the wrong address, it's moved to where the old m&s store used to be.

A huge shop with 3 floors, clothes and homewares at very good prices!

      New primark is open!
Although it seems more expensive than it used to be. My view of primark has decreased greatly after I discovered they used poor child labourers in foreign countries and I now refuse to shop there because of moral objections.

Primark in Derby (opened in summer 2008) located in the old Marks & Spencers is massive. It boasts 3 floors. The first floor contains womens clothes, bags and accessories, second floor mens clothes and accessories as well as womens underwear and nightwear. Third floor has shoes and childrens clothes and home wear. I have to say I am not a fan of Primark, but I like the basic range and socks :) pyjamas are nice too. There are usually a crowd of people, but becuase of the number of checksout, queues are not that bad! I saw different Primarks and in general this one is ok.

Primark was eagerly waited for in derby. It is full of cheap fashionable clothing. There is a range to suit everyone and has all types, from underwear, to t-shirts and vest tops, to going out dresses, big jumpers and a fantastic range of shoes.
It tends to change its range of clothes quite often, and always has a range to suit the season of the moment. It has 3 floors to cover women, men and childrens wear, also shoes, home and accessories. Although the clothes are extremely cheap the quality is not compromised. The fitting rooms are spacious but could probably do with extra ones as they can get very busy at peak times. The queues can also be quite busy but the service is generally quick and pleasant. Primark does cater for the general clothes needed everyday. This place is perfect for everyone at an easily affordable price. they have also started a small make up range which is also quite good quality.
