It's one of those old school cafes that does whopper big cream buns, big strong cups of tea, and a grand big sandwich that'll fill ya to the brim.
It's nothing fancy and it doesn't try to be, so if you're looking for a quick lunch spot, that won't break the bank with half decent food, this might be the one for you!
Just opened in Nutgrove. Nice coffee and delicious baked muffins. I was sick of going to McDonald's so this is a nice change.
Quigley's seems to take pride in their work 'since' whatever year they have up there. However on a tuesday morning at 10, you will not find fresh bread. As the sandwich bar was open I decided to get a bagel. The various fillings didn't seem that fresh but perhaps it was just the lighting... The girl asked if I wanted the lettuce after the toasting to which I replied I didn't want it toasted. She made a face, I asked if it was fresh, she said no. At this point I didn't want the bagel but she'd already smeared the ingredients and I don't like waste. I also thought to myself: 'perhaps I shouldn't hope for fresh ingredients'. Should I?
