River Island is one of my favourite clothes shops to shop in. The clothes are always really fashionable and trendy. They have lovely jeans, t-shirts and dresses. I really like their bags and accessories also. The staff are really friendly and very helpful.

One of my favorite places to shop in Dublin. It's very young, cute, clothing for not a terrible price. It can be comparable to urban outfitters pricing but not as ridiculous. I always walk out with something when I go here!

I really love river island, especially this one on Grafton St. It is really big and everything is really well displayed. Everytime I walk by and I hear the thumping music im drawn in! The clothes are great, really glam and sexy. The bags are my fave. But i find the staff in this particular one, very grim and unenthusiastic alot of the time. Still, this dosnt take away at all from the shop, its fab! :)

I think River island is a lovely shop. For all generations! There may be many items that are quite expensive but you only pay for what you get, the clothes are of good quality and don't rip like the cheaper bargain clothes stores. The staff are nice enough and under good managerment. The shops decor is fabulous and chic and they always play upbeat music! I have returned and exchanged items without any problem, but make sure you keep the reciept. The changing rooms are spacious and clean aswell and you will find clothing range for both men and women. To sum up it is a great high street shop.

I love river island in grafton street for menswear. Its one of the few shops where the mens fashion department is as strong as the womens. Its located at the top of the grafton street towards the trinity college end. The shop stocks a good range of suits, tops, jeans, shoes, accesories etc - its all very good fashion at high street prices that you should find something to suit yourself whatever your age and style. Their christmas and summer sales are brilliant too!

Reputation for really pricey clothes - (which is often true but not always). As well as this, some of the stuff isn't great quality (I had to throw out a necklace after a month because it turned brown) I bought 4 tops for 40 euro the other day which I thought was good. If you are buying brightly coloured tops (eg the illuminous pink tee shirts they seel) then you have to hand wash them or the colour WILL fade - trust me it has happened to me many times. The service is always good. The staff are always really helpful if you want another size or something in the dressing rooms. The price thing is definitely an issue though, but the prices drop alot during the sales. This shop is particularly good for bags and jeans.

Back in the heady days of the '70s when i was earning loads of money my gorgeous wife would spend at least one day a week shopping in River Island. She had a model girl figure and always looked amazing, sophisticated and cool. Even though she had five children to bring up it did not take from her magic attraction. Every time I pass a River Island shop the memories come charging back to me. Now that we are pensioners this lovely shop is out of our reach, even though my wife is as beautiful as ever she feels it is best left to the "kids". Great shop, great memories, thank you River Island.

Old school high street doesn't come in a neater package. River Island has always been a hit and miss, but considering that there are hits to be had at all (unlike most of its sisters on the grim red brick parade of Grafton Street) means that you can't knock it. Waltz past all the beige and white shirt fodder and check out the shoes and accessories wherin you'll usually find the best value. Coats are a big thing, but be aware that fifteen other people will be wearing the same one at any one given time in any one given place. Like most uber franchises, the only way to use river Island properly is to harvest the best of its unnoticable, bland clothes (the kind that people could never say 'Oh, i saw that in River Island yesterday'), and then use them in conjunction with interesting ensembles. The best time for this harvest, naturally, is during the sales when prices drop through the floor - the best time anyway as usually what the dubliners have left behind is the best that the store had to offer.
