I got some of my favourite shoes from this store... they have a good mens section upstairs and the staff are helpfull. but they are super concious on security so your not very welcome to browse for ages if you are not planning to buy... i guess they have a fair few thefts or maybe it was just the vibe i was getting... i dont look THAT threatening i dont think! Do i?
Eitherway Schuh generally have a good mix of shoes...that being from the normal to the rediculous... worth a look.
Most days, I like wearing runners and whenever I want to replace my old Converses or Pumas, I go to the Schuh on O'Connell Street.
First off, I appreciate that Schuh's section for women is located on the ground floor. (I've noticed that most unisex shops have women climb the stairs to get to the goods. Probably because they know that women will take the extra steps.)
The other great thing about Schuh is the variety of shoes they have. Not only do they stock all the major sport brands, but they also have leather and suede heels and boots. So, you can be a girly girl and shop here too!
Unlike Alexandra, I am a heels girl, and confirming her report, us girly girls can shop their too! So as she says rightly says in her review, they have a huge variety that can cater to lots of people.
They stock big brands like DC, Red or Dead, Morgan, Addidas and have everything from runners, to flats, to strappy sandals and boots.
The store itself is really big - a big section downstairs and then a big men's section upstairs.
A few years ago I fell in love with a pair of flats in Schuh... they were basically a simple black pair of ballerinas but they had cute little fairies printed on them. I went back pretty much every week just to look at them and then one day... they were on sale and more importantly still available in my size! Ever since I've loved shoe. Some of the pairs they sell are a bit on the you've-got-to-be-kidding-me side but they have a good mix of fashionable, classic and just plain cute shoes. They also offer student discount and they will order shoes in for you. The staff are pretty nice as well, but sometimes it can take a while before you can flag one of them down.
I am normally not a fan of chain shoe stores. I prefer places where I can get unique, on of a kind funky shoes. However, at Schuh there are enough really fantastic shoes which border on art that I am more than fine shopping here. The staff is really friendly and helpful, even when I ask to see about 10 different pairs, which is always nice in a shoe store. Plus they have a great return policy.
Well, there are no Manolo Blanik-shoes sold here (though they do have some Camper-offers from time to time), but for your daily (branded) footwear needs this is the place. Nice staff, and they store Chuck Taylors in almost all colors, so I'll be shopping here at least twice a year.
Although the Schuh in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is my favourite, I also really like this one as it is close to where I work. It is quite big and spacious and the staff are really friendly and helpful here.
This is a flagship store on 2 floors in the centre of Dublin City. Well presented, good range of quality fashion shoes from a very successful and expanding business.
Schuh is a brilliant place to shop for shoes in Dublin. They have really large sizes, which appeals to anybody who doesn't fit the standard 5-8 bracket, and some of their designs are literally out of this world! I love their incredible sky-scraper heels, and the fabulous leather boots. This shop is spacious, with friendly staff and it is in a great location. Though some of their prices are a little steep, i feel it is well worth it as these shoes will last you a lifetime. My brother is also a great fan of the guys shoes, and younger shoppers love the trainers. You cannot go wrong with schuh.
I find Schuh great for shoes for all occasions. I love their runners and crocs for casual everyday. I love their Hush Puppies, which have shoes in their range for night time like wedges and work flat black shoes. I love this location as it is right in the middle of O'Connell St.
Schuh on O'connell street has a decent range of shoes its hard to believe that this flagship store doesnt keep some of the more trendy styles from the brands they stock. Its also off putting when the staffs shoes are in worn out and in bad shape.
Love this shoe shop. It's not the cheapest but they often have a sales rack down the back where you would find the most unexpected bargain. I bought a pair of knee high Red or Dead boots here one time for half their original price and I also bought a fab pair of turquoise blue wedges for a mere €15. They were admired by so many people and nobody believed me when I admitted how little I paid for them. As well as the likes of Red or Dead they do their own brand too, along with names like Irregular Choice (which I love) and Converse. For anyone who is into funkier types of styles, this is the place to go.
