I called in this branch of Subway to pick up some food after visiting the East Side Gallery, which isn't far from here and is just one stop on the 248 Bus to get to this branch, located inside the train station, a train station which now is much less used for train services mainly down to the building of the new Central Station, which even become so important, it stole the name of the former main station, in which this Subway is located.

This Subway has a decent amount of seating and is set out pretty much like an average Subway, one would find in the UK.

The staff didn't seem overly friendly but once again that was mainly down to the language barrier, the sandwiches were reasonably priced, similar pricing to the UK which was good to see especially considering some brands such as Starbucks, cost a significantly higher amount more in Germany than the UK, which is an even higher difference at the branch also inside this train station.

I ordered a 6 inch Italian with tuna and cheese and a selection of salad which included tomato and cucumber, the overall sub was good quality, albeit I didn't like how the staff struggled to offer me any recommendation, I also didn't like the fact they didn't have real mayonnaise, and only had some sort of twist on one, which I wouldn't even call mayo at all, or a light mayonnaise which both were quite poor. The sandwich Artist once again struggled communicating due to the language barrier and couldn't offer me a recommendation, of course the fact there are fewer "specials" or "Recommended" subs here compared to the UK is also a little disappointing.

Good quality food and basically the same produce and quality that I would expect if I ordered the same dish back home in the UK, which was a relief as I'd struggled to find food I would consider eating in Germany, let alone the same but for gluten free food which I preferably need to eat because of my gluten intolerance, but the service is less so good quality and the location isn't ideal and is probably only somewhere you will go if you plan to catch a train, bus or tram from the station, it isn't in a fantastic, central location sadly, due to what has discussed, I feel this branch only deserves a two star rating with the staff members and lack of specials etc being the biggest let down for me, and of course they don't offer anything gluten free here so that is always disappointing.
