Very popular spot for all ages/abilities. Duck feeding and boating seems to be the the favourite here. Situated at the far end of Mill Road there is limited parking here. My grandaughter loves it. There is acccess to some fantastic walks around the Arundel estate from here, but some of the hills could be a little much for some!!. There is a lovely walk around the lake if you go left to the North side. Lovely picnic area and tea/coffe facilities.
The Wetland Centre is a few yards down the road which is worth a visit.

Great place for an afternoon or morning out with the kids. Set just past Arundel castle down Mill Road it is a beautiful lake with duck feeding and boating. Rowing boats are cheap and rentable by the half hour. There is a cafe, ice cream stand (great ice cream!!) and scenic walks up the hill.

I have spent many happy Sunday afternoons here with my children. They absolutely love walking round the lake and climbing up the banks. If you enjoy feeding ducks, don't forget to take your bread as there are plenty here.

It's also a great place to take a picnic.

Rowing boats are quite pricey but the kids have great fun. My girls went on their own in their early teens and went round and round in circles!

This is a realy beautiful well preserved castle with over a 1000 years of history behind it.Situated 4 miles north of Littlehampton midway between Chichester and Worthing it's very easy to get to.It's so easy to spend a day not just looking round the castle but there's also the gardens and the lake. The admission fee of £13 adults and £7.50 children (although family tickets are available) is worth the money.I can't wait to go back.
