This is a great little spot! Quality food at good prices.
They have home made muffins and scones for breakfast, and they use freshly baked bread for their lunch time sandwiches.
Their dinner deals are great value too. The house wine is very drinkable and reasonable.
This restaurant definitely lives up to it's name! -

Like the previous Yelper said this location is a Bermuda Triangle for Businesses, there have been dozens here over the years.
I am a local here and eat in a lot of the Terenure Village restaurants.
We had our first experience of the Lovely Food Company last Sunday for Brunch
Firstly the place is immaculately presented.
The service is almost Parisian in its professionalism.
The food is beautifully presented.
The Coffee was good.
The price was right.
I really hope this place lasts as I will be back again to try the dinner menu. Great show guys!Listed in: Best Brunch

oh and do you know what, it is lovely.
This cafe exists on one of those sites that seems to eat up businesses and spit them out. I've passed it on the bus a few times and noticed how quickly the previous incarnation died. Anyway this morning having been stuck on a bus on terenure road west for over an hour due to flood, I decided to get out and stop for breakfast before trying to get to work again.
I had french toast with eggs and bacon and it just perfect. The decor is simple and sophisticated, the tea came in a big pot, I got maple syrup with my french toast, the staff were pleasant and attentive... even the tiny toilet was lovely.
It's all lovely... must make a point of going back for cake some time.Listed in: Loo-la

My visit was their first night serving dinner (they had been open for lunch for some time) and they were putting their best foot forward. Even so, when you can't find fault with the service, the food, the wine or the price there really is no choice but to give a place 5 stars.
Well done to the crew in the Lovely Food Company, the food was excellent, perfectly cooked, well presented and the service was great to match. It really wasn't necessary to throw in a bottle of wine for free - we were already very impressed, and they had already put us under the early bird even though we were a little late for it (and willing to pay full price, given the quality).
In the end we made up for the free bottle in the tip. I will be going back, excellent first impression, and we all know how important that is......
My brother and his wife had also been here to have lunch and were similarly impressed, so it does not appear to be a coincidence. I wish them all the best - as a previous reviewer mentioned the turnover here for businesses is shocking.
If first impressions are anything to go by they will be an institution in no time :) -

I would give it more then 5 stars if I could!!!!
This place is amazing! I've only been here for lunch but I am sure dinner is great. I love the sandwich with the cranberry mayo. Mmm! Delish!
Staff are great and really friendly. Possible the best place in Terenure for lunch.
Go! You will love the lovely!!!!
