A very standard Wetherspoon offering. Food and drink at great prices including s reasonable selection of craft beers. Where else could you order a pint of Heineken and a can of Bengali Tiger and get change from £4?
A large somewhat impersonal feeling bar, though it does exactly what you expect it to.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark H.Hull, United Kingdom8138693 Mar 2011First to Review
Another typical Wetherspoon city centre pub, so you know exactly what to expect on the bar and on the menu.
However, the building used to be a bank, which makes for a striking environment, with private "offices" with tables for eating.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Sasha9…)Dublin91204010 Jun 2010
Cheap food, cheap beer, and fast service. I love the decor, but at times it can seem a little dull in this place. The food is average pub food, but if this is you're thing then you wont be dissapointed. Its a big place and is spacious and comfortable. Its also great to visit on a night around the town due to the wide selection of cheap drinks, but it does get very busy.

Yeah! I'm a fan of this bar located in the heart Hull heading towards the Old Town. It's open every day and I enjoy going in a cup of coffee in the day, or a few drinks on a Friday night. A standard Wetherspoon offering really nice food and drink at great prices including a pretty reasonable selection of beers and wines.

While walking around Hull, I found some this pub right by Holy Trinity Church. I was attracted by the "Burger and a Beer for 4.99" sign. I stopped in waiting at the entrance only to find out that you can just walk in and find a table where every you like. You walk up to the bar, place your order, they hand you your drink, and they bring out the food to you. The bartenders did an awesome job in serving me and handing me my Guinness. Finally, my meal came out. I had the burger with bacon, a slice of tomato, slices of purple onion, and multiple leafy greens, but not too much. It was delicious. I have eaten a lot of burgers, but this one here tasted really good. When you eat here, be on the lookout for deals on steaks and curry. Curry night is Thursday night from 12 noon- 10pm. This place has delicious burgers. I can't wait to try their curry!

Quality of the food has diminished recently to the point where we have stopped going, they still sell quality beers & lagers but as the wife and myself are not heavy drinkers this isnt enough to keep us visiting

William Wilberforce was a guy who abolished slavery, the wilberforce house musuem is his birth place & a definate must to visit to see how all was accomplished,a multi million refurbishment closed it for awhile but is now open once again to the public.Admission to here is free to the public, there is now a new interactive audio visual experience for people to take part in freedom forums. It has been a museum since 1906 but was built by Hugh Lister in 1660 a few years following it became the home of the wilberforces

A cheap and cheerful Wetherspoons pub. Nice place for a cheap meal during the day or early evening. Avoid after 6pm on a weekend though, as it fills up with rough, drinking crowds.
Standard Wetherspoons, you get what you expect. Staff are helpful too and the food service is swift even on busy days.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (RCook…)Hull, United Kingdom322622 Aug 2010
In my opinion this is the best of the city centre Weatherspoons. More spacious and better service than the 3 John's (round the corner), and a nicer clientèle than The Admiral of the Humber (where you can also wait a looooooonnnnnng time for a drink).
