I was on a j1 in Boston for 5 months and became OBSESSED with frozen yoghurt.. especially Pink Berry. Me and my friends regularly fantasised about coming home to Ireland to find the craze had caught on and we wouldn't have to go into withdrawls when we got back home.

Unfortunately the craze has not caught on in Ireland except for one trendsetting place - Yogism. I love everything about this fun new place in George's Arcade. From the handmade furniture to the wonderfully friendly staff. The 4 delicious fat free yoghurt flavours to the FRESH fruit (no tinned crap).

As everyone has explained it's self service so you chose the size of your tub (I always go for medium even though I always regret not getting the large after), you then choose which flavour (or flavours - you can mix and match) you would like and you get to pour it yourself! You then choose from over 20 toppings including as many healthy fruits and nuts as your heart desires and there are also plenty of tasty chocolatey treats for when you need your fix! At the end you will be asked to guess the weight of your yumminess (they will give you a rough guideline) and if you guess the weight it's FREE!

I can safely say I am addicted to this place and everything about it. Love the fact that it's an independent IRISH store (we need as many of them as possible right now!) and if things couldn't get any better.. they've just opened up in Dundrum Town Centre so I can satisfy my cravings wherever I am! I hope this place stays around for a looong time!

I really fail to see the hype about this place.
It's a great concept but after reading all the reviews I expected much more.
My problem is the toppings. The choice is bizarre! I didn't find much I wanted to put on my yoghurt. Where are the real melted chocolates, real caramels, jams, custards etc? (I saw the puny little squirt bottles of fake sweet stuff... I got an invisible drizzle of toffee that didn't taste like anything) Two cereal choices, both the same kind! Only a couple of fruits, most of which (kiwi, strawberry) are the type a lot of people are allergic to.
Basically I found the toppings boring. So boring that it became all about the yoghurt which was fine but nothing to scream about.
Add to that the 15 minutes queuing to pay because people are endlessly trying to guess the weight...

This place does a nice frozen yoghurt. The price is quite high, but worth it.
and if you guess the weight of your portion then you get it for free.

You can put as many toppings as you like too. You just pay by the weight, not by the variety.

Also, I like the interior, it's very suited to the products. But there wasn't enough seats last time I was in so we had to eat on a bench on the street.

Yogism, a new twist on frozen yogurt. I have been searching for a place like this in Dublin for what seems like forever and now we have our very own. You can get as naughty or as nice as you want with your yogurt, as they have flavors ranging from green tea or passion fruit to chocolate. You can try a refreshing passion fruit frozen yogurt with some berries, nuts and granola or go for chocolate with brownie chunks, Oreos and Smarties!

The fun begins by  selecting a cup size, then choosing your frozen yogurt flavor and select toppings of your choice. They have a wide range of toppings to fulfill any craving! Once you've made your wonderful concoction, if you can guess the weight you get your frozen yogurt for free! It's a fantastic treat, refreshing and you can still feel good about yourself while you're eating it.

Frozen yoghurt has seen a couple of popular periods in Ireland, the last one being 10 years ago and more like frozen fruit smoothies than the current Pinkberry inspired trend which has finally reached Ireland in a couple of guises, first Yogen Fruz and now Yogism.

Your enjoyment of this place will, naturally, depend on your affinity for frozen yoghurt itself. Me, I'm a big fan, in fact, I may actually prefer it to ice cream, although I don't know how well that theory would hold up when stood in Murphy's or a Ben and Jerry's shop. Still, it's a different kind of treat, you've got lovely smooth (and slightly tangy) froyo and then you can cram as many toppings onto this as you want.

So far, so usual - if you've ever been in a froyo shop, you'll mostly know what to expect. Yogism is of the self-serve variety of stores, you pick a size of tub, you pick one of four flavours (natural, chocolate, green tea and passion fruit when I went in today, the last time we went in there was "viagra" flavour instead of passion fruit), you pick from a bunch of sweet toppings (Oreos, rocky road, chocolate drops, jelly tots, etc.) and/or a bunch of fruit toppings. You can also opt for sweet sauces on top. This is typical of a lot of American froyo chains, it's a great formula, so it's just right that Yogism stick to it.

Some things let them stick out from the pile of others though. I liked Yogen Fruz (in Jervis shopping centre), however there's nowhere to sit-in, so the lovely store in the calm and peaceful Georges Arcade was a welcome addition, with it's bare and wooden look and utilitarian wooden benches - spot on for a 10 minute munch.

Second, it's self-serve, I don't know why I prefer that, but I do. Most importantly, the fun factor of this is just better than most other chains (including those in the US) - the staff are extremely helpful, happy and chatty. Gimmick ahead - you guess the weight of your froyo before they calculate how much you'll pay for it, and if you guess right, you get it free. I got 2 grams off from the actual weight, so I didn't get it free, and I doubt many people will, but it's another element of 'personality' that won me over. Also, I noticed that you'll never be charged more than 7.50 for a single froyo cup, so if you want to eat a weeks worth of froyo, you can knock yourself out.

Only two things I'd improve, and they're just personal preference - slightly tangier original flavour and some more American toppings (Reece's, Heath bar).

Short story: If you enjoy froyo and you want to enjoy it somewhere quieter and calmer than most other places, with a fun and friendly experience, go to Yogism.

    Del.ic.ous!

I've been trying to go here for weeks and finally Sunday came and I woke up with one thought in my mind. YOGISM!! The blue skies and sunshine made it all the more exciting, I couldn't get there quickly enough! :)

When I arrived I was so excited to see the place, brightly coloured with funky spray paint on the outside and the inside too spray paint on white walls.

The owner was very friendly, he introduced himself  as Stephen and asked our names. He explained the different flavours and toppings.

You can choose from 3 size tubs, small, medium or large, the small looked too small, and large looked perhaps a bit too big so medium seemed perfect to me! We were also the first people to try out the strawberry yogurt, as it had just been changed from the mango one. So choice was blueberry, strawberry, chocolate and natural. As I'm off chocolate for lent I went with natural and strawberry.

You make your own fro-yo, which is really cool, press down the lever and out comes deliciousness!

The toppings are laid out in a beautiful manner in porcelain bowls with wooden lids, there's a nice natural and wooden feel to whole interior of the place too, with the wooden tables and chairs.

Toppings - I went with the granola, pineapple and strawberries, so yum! I would have loved to have tried out the more chocolately toppings such as chocolate chips and smarties and other lovely looking sweets but I shall have to wait until after lent to try out these delights!

If you can guess the weight of your fro yo it's free. What a nice added perk! And if you can't guess correctly, well there's still the great 10% off for all yelpers who check in there.

I've also noticed on their facebook page they've put up a poll as to what you'd like the next flavour fro yo at yogism to be  :

    http://www.facebook.co...

so get voting to secure your favourite froyo! :)

I can't wait to go back for more! :D

It was a hot evening in the city after a week of hot evenings and I needed cooling down!
Popping into Yogism in George's Arcade, the first thing to catch my eye was the counter with all those toppings!! From the good (fruit) to the bad (choccie) to the dangerous (browny pieces!!), they had it all.
Their flavours were delish too, self-serve dispensers of chocolate, original, passion-fruit and green tea (my favourite).
When you take it to the counter you get the chance to guess the weight of your tub and if you're right, you get the tub for free!
Nice staff, good service and great food, what more could a body ask for!?

Yogism is a dream come true for frogurt fans. I've been to both Pinkberry and Yoghurtland in America and loved them both so I was delighted to hear that we were finally getting the real deal here. it's pretty similar to Yoghurtland as you select your cup size (small, medium or large), pull your own flavor (natural and chocolate as standard and the fruit ones change, I got mango on my visit), add your toppings and then pay by weight. If you guess it right you get it for free! The yoghurt is really delicious and smooth and the fruit I heaped on was ripe and juicy.

The owner Stephen is really sound. I felt bad when I won my frogurt for free when I guessed the exact weight. Hopefully this review makes up for it!

The year is still quiet young but I am certain that Yogism is my find of the year, for the longest time i have passed through Georges Street arcade as a short cut and not really paid much or any attention to the great shops and eateries inside, by chance I stumbled upon Yogism  whilst walking through one day and decided that I should try it out  it has been one of the best decisions I have made in a while, Yogism is just such a cool and relaxed atmosphere  you instantly feel comfortable the second you walk in the door and are greeted like a friend  which is something which has been  lacking in businesses across Ireland  for the last number of years.

The Self service element to Yogism is a brilliant touch and really allows you to feel involved in the process, the selection of frozen yogurt  are all delicious and extremely refreshing and light as are the toppings you can choose from.

I love the idea of being able to get the frozen yogurt for free if you can guess the weight of it I have come close on some occasions.

I really recommend everyone to try Yogism out you will not regret it.

    AMAZING.

Best FroYo in Dublin. By far.

Serve yourself frozen yoghurt and toppings where if you guess the weight you get it for free--I think if I come enough Ill be able to always get it for free!

I got the Chocolate froyo and Blueberry froyo and they were both delicious. The chocolate was very rich and similar to PinkBerry in the US (not like the Red Mango one) and I had never had blueberry before but I think its my new favorite! Lots of different toppings and you are given thongs to pick them our yourself--I used brownie peices, white chocolate chips, strawberries and raspberries--so glad I did not have to pay per topping like at most places!

The seating is really nice and goes surprisingly well with the metal machines even though they were handmade by the owner out of wood.

    AMAZING.

I had my first frozen yogurt experience here yesterday. I ate some delicious concoction in Berlin last year which I thought was frozen yogurt but after what I had yesterday it turns out what I had in Berlin was not Frozen yogurt!

It was very exciting getting prepare your own tub. Not like when the when the shop assistant does it for you and you keep starting at them and mumbling under your breath ' hmm I want a bit less of that' or 'thats not enough - keep going'. Maybe its just me being a control freak but I like the idea of picking what you want and how much of it.

I was in a bit of a hurry then I came here yesterday so I couldn't enjoy the true excitement of the place.

As Im off chocolate I was restricted to only certain toppings ( which were in abundance) the more healthy option.

I look forward to returning again when I can sample the chocolate frozen yogurt and the chocolate toppings

Stephen (I think thats his name) who served us was very helpful and welcoming also.

    Help yourself....

Nestled in the corner of the George's Street Arcade is an absolute gem. Yogism is fresh, modern and chill hangout offering a range of frozen yoghurt that in my opinion trumps ice cream. Ok, so frozen yoghurt has usually always played second string to ice cream or is viewed as the poor mans alternative .... things are changing though.

It's all self serve, with the exception of being handed a tongs and having a barrel of broken up oreas/rockie road/ marshmallows/white chocolate chips etc opened for you. Vending the yoghurt is actually quite fun, swirling it around in the tub, using the lever like a construction worker. Natural/Chocolate/Mango/Blueberry..... take your pick.

The range of toppings is extensive, whether it's a healthy snack or a treat you're looking for, you're in the right place. From fresh fruit and nuts to chocolate brownie pieces and smarties, it satisfies all tastes.

Another really nice feature is that if you guess the weight of your creation correctly, you get it for free. The staff are amiable and cordial, what more could you want.

Get yourself down to Yogism and discover frozen yoghurt at it's best.... remember, don't knock it 'till you try it!

I think we can all agree that the Tesco's self-scan checkout is history's greatest monster. So it's nice to see a place like Yogism help repair the reputation of self-service shopping.

Putting your own froyo together is a lot more fun than I thought. Dominating the right-hand side of the shop is a pink wall dispensing four flavours of delicious frozen yoghurts. If doling out your own dessert doesn't test your willpower, wait until you get to the jars of toppings. Fresh fruit, chocolate, cookies... I went with a relatively healthy combo of raspberries and blueberries, but I would have been just as happy to pile on the M&Ms and Oreos.

Yogism isn't cheap, I paid  €4.80 for a medium sized tub. That said, it was a dessert that could have easily done for two people. There's also an option to get your dessert for free if you can guess that weight!

I can't really fault Yogism on anything. Their product is great and the shop is cool as well. I can't wait to give it another go.

This is the place to get your fro-yo on.  They have a great selection, trendy location, and a selection of toppings that can't be matched anywhere else in Dublin.  I like the urban decor and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.  I find myself popping in here a bit more than I probably should - the stuff is addictive!

Best FroYo in Dublin! Yogism is a self-serve frozen yoghurt shop with a universally cool vibe, beginning with its location in the fun and funky George's Street Arcade. The wares are sold by weight (unless you guess the weight, in which case it's free!). Since you serve yourself, you get exactly what you want. Select a small, medium, or large cup; pull one (or more) of several flavors of probiotic yoghurt in the amount you want; pick from a variety of toppings (including fruit, nuts, and granola); and enjoy! The decor is hip urban rustic, and the service is personal and friendly. If you need guidance, just ask Stephen. They also have smoothies, but I didn't try these. I confess that I am a FroYo acolyte, and Yogism is my new religion!

Great yogurt. Appreciate the self serve and loved the mango and chocolate - though the combo was admittedly odd. I did not have any of the many topping options - I wanted strawberry, but they were out, but who needs toppings when the frozen yogurt is this good. Yogism is now officially part of my Thursday return. Sweet.
