22 Feb 2019Would have loved to try this place but we waited 10 minutes to have a table cleaned so we can sit and then 5 minutes to get a menu and 10 more minutes of no one even glancing at us to decide to just leave after seeing a couple that had been there since we got to the door just place the order and there were 3 other tables waiting to get their order taken, an order was messed up and getting sorted and two people were waiting to pay so we left. If I ever go and get service I'll redo my rating.

13 Aug 2016I can't vouch for the food but wow I was blown away by how terrible the drinks were. I ordered an Old Fashioned and my friend had a Manhatan. His was drinkable but I couldn't take more that a few sips of my drink and neither could my friend. It was so sugary and thick with simple syrup that it just ruined it. The plan was to eat there but it was so bad we just decided to leave. Two other friends also tried it before ordering and they couldn't drink it either. Learn how to make a classic if you are going to offer it. May still go back to try food but not sure. Stick with a beer if you go. 1 star for now. I'll update it if I go back and they change my mind. Big if though

15 Sept 2014Good Jerk chicken and the vibe all around took me back to Jamaica. Their home made drinks were great also. The chicken wasn't exactly like it was on the island but that may have just been part of the experience there :) I say try it if your looking for some good Jerk.

7 Jul 2013We didn't know how important choosing the right caterer was until our wedding day.
Festive Foods did a FANTASTIC job to help make our wedding day full of great memories and have everything run smoothly. Lauren was such a pleasure to work with! We were a little stressed from our previous caterer backing out 2 months before the event after having the menu and details set. However, that turned out to be a blessing as we then contacted Festive Foods and felt so much better after our meeting with Lauren. We looked at 4 other caterers and nothing came close to the service and attention she gave us. She was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. Going out to their tasting restaurant in rural VA was at first off putting for me but it was well worth the trip. The food and venue were great and it is always nice to be treated like royalty for an evening.
On our wedding day, we had very little time to set everything up due to venue time restrictions. However, Lauren and her team were able to get everything ready on time, even with Lauren being occupied for a good 30 minutes sewing suspender buttons on one of the grooms pants. :) They were also very helpful in keeping the live band a surprise for one of the grooms which was a big moment of the day. During and after dinner, everyone was asking us about the caterer and complimenting the food. Food isn't always the highlight of the wedding but for us it was extremely important and everyone is still talking about how good it was when they remember that night.
We were so happy with Festive Foods and highly recommend them! You will not regret it.
I don't give out fives often but it is well deserved here and I will recommend Festive Foods for any event for the price, service, and experience. You only have one chance to make the event work and if it wasn't for them, I don't think it would have turned out as great as it did.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
