Great service, great food, huge portions. Really fresh and delicious. Skip all the other places, this place is king of breakfast! Even the cappuccino was excellent. The people there have a nice welcoming vibe, don't think, just go!

Can't decide what kind of racquet or strings to get? Don't sweat it, get over to GST and talk to Gordon. Super experienced guy who will totally set you up properly!

If you are beginner, don't be scared. They are a no-pressure friendly place. Do not run to a department store and buy a racquet with wrong grip size and swing weight. Trust me, this is very important if you want to improve your tennis without developing injuries. His expert advice costs you nothing and he has racquets for all budgets.

For advanced players, they have all the top shelf equipment you want in stock. Babolat Pure Aero (and Tour), Wilson Clash (and Tour), Head Graphene 360 Speed (MP and Pro), etc. Notice they carry all variations of head sizes and weights? Which brings up the next point. For $50 you can spend 2 months demoing everything they have. Buy a racquet, they credit you $50 towards purchase. I tried a bunch until I found "the one." Extremely helpful in fine-tuning my racket choice.

My dudes, I was in and out in 30 mins on Monday at 11:45am for RealID application without appointment!

      Here's whatcha do:
      1) fill out online form for license application, give them code # at the front desk.
      2) bring Passport, SSN card, 2 proofs of residency, debit card or checkbook (no credit card allowed).
      3) eye test and take photo.

The people working there were moving things along fast, so you better reshape your preconceived notions about the DMV. There was some drama though. One guy got caught using his phone on written test, told the proctor to F off, and stormed out.

I hate to be the one...

JINS has great service and extremely cheap prices for decent frames. And for your money, it's amazing they provide high index lens with free anti-reflective coating. So I gave it a try.

For people with low prescriptions, I highly recommend JINS. But for people with high prescriptions like me above 7.00+, I have some issues.

Their lenses don't have much curvature. This might not sound important, but if you roll your eyes to sides to look at something, the image is blurry on the sides. This makes you have to turn entire head for everything. Really gives me headache because I naturally roll my eyes around looking at things.

Let me show you my $700 glasses from an optometrist vs. my JINS $120 pair. Same prescription, also high index and similar anti-reflective coating. Ignore lens thickness, as my $700 pair is bigger frame and is expected to have more pronounced lens corner flare. But look how flat the JINS lens is overall. I'm no optician, but this is probably what's causing the blurriness on sides. I tried adjusting frame up, down, left, right to try to find a better sweet spot. Nope.

Even though the JINS lenses are high index, somehow my optometrist-lab-made lens are of superior clarity. To be fair, I even went back to optometrist and got 2nd JINS pair with dialed back prescription down -0.5 diopters for close up computer work, thinking maybe my prescription was too high for JINS, but even that pair was blurry on sides.

So yeah, sadness, no JINS for me. :-(

JINS $120. Lens is almost flat outside and barely curved inside.
from outside optometrist lab, $700 glasses, notice the uniform curvature in the lenses?

Fast and efficient without any nonsense or upselling. This is about as pleasant as it will ever get for a smog check. I've been to other places where they waste a bunch of time telling you how other things in your car need servicing, blah blah. Look -- I'm here for a smog check! Can we do that and let me go my merry way? These guys get it. And cheap too!
