Wow! What a little cracker of a cafe!

Nestled away in the leafy suburb of Bawnogue......no seriously!

Bawnogue is generally associated with being a hub for bank robbers and those affiliated with the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics and certainly not with culinary delight!

Honeycomb is a hidden gem! It's warm and inviting it's a really nice place to be! It feels like your living room with friendly bubbly staff.

The food is really good, chicken club was amazing smally got a dippy poached egg with soldiers and it was lovely!

The food was good take my word for that but it was the experience I enjoyed most! I rarely gush on here but I really enjoyed honeycomb

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves more than 4 it's so good and seeing as I can't give it my intended and well deserved 4.5 then it's getting the 5. (Allow us to give half stars yelp HQ!)

Honeycomb is tucked away near an enterprise centre in clondalkin. You wouldn't happen upon it easily. It's so hidden that it's survival would depend on word of mouth recommendations or good online reviews to get their business. This place gets both and one visit will tell you why

I hadn't been in a while but when I arrived last week they were still as busy as ever and we had to wait for a seat at around 11am. They do the most amazing breakfasts. I can't actually describe how delicious their full Irish breakfast is.

I'll give it a bash. The sausages are delicious and will make or break a brekkie for me but it's the other few bits that make it stand out: the white pudding and the homemade hash brown thing were the stars of the show... Every time I took a bit of either there was a party in my mouth and my tummy was nearly squealing in delight over what was on the way. The onion strings were also so tasty and added a nice crunch and variety to the textures going on. Their breakfasts are just so different and miles better than the standard cafe breakfast we're all used to getting

They also do desserts that look mouth watering! I haven't tried any yet though as I've only been in here for brekkie. My friend got the vegetarian quiche and sweet potato fries and he said it was delicious.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming and the service is quick and efficient. I'll definitely be back and am really looking forward to it!

They've also launched a new dinner menu quite recently and if their breakfast is anything to go by then I'd imagine they'll do very well and deservedly so

A great find! You'd never guess from the exterior but Honeycomb is a cosy little spot. I went here with a big group (we had booked a table) and we all tried something from the food menu. Everyone was happy with the food but the winner was definitely the honeycomb cheesecake - I'll be back just for this! :-)

So frustrated and disappointed as I was so excited to come here and I was let down. The food was great and the inside is really cosy and warm..but the staff..ouch! We came at lunch time so it was packed and they had one poor teenage girl on the floor all by herself. I was getting flustered watching her! They really should have more than one person serving especially at the lunch hour rush. We had to wait ten minutes to be seated when we could see empty seats.. When we finally sat down after another ten I had to call the girl over to order because we were in a hurry. The food came quick but :)..The menu is big enough and it's not the cheapest but the quality is great. I swore I'd try the toblerone and honeycomb cheesecake but I just hadn't enough room left after my tasty sandwhich. My mam didn't enjoy her turkey club because she said the meat was like sliced turkey from a pack. Also the girl next to me didn't eat her same one. I kept looking at everyone else's food it looked so tasty and the sizzling stir fry they have smelled so good I wanna go back and try it. They have a selection of fresh juices and free wifi. The toilets are done up so cute just like the inside. They provide baby essentials like nappies and wipes which is a nice touch :).. The whole feel to the place is sorta like an old Grannys sitting room full of teapots and books! I was underwhelmed to be honest but I'm gonna return at a less busy hour and try something new.. And il leave room for that cheesecake ;)

This place is a hidden gem! I panicked and made the mistake of ordering a breakfast roll instead of some of the other amazing looking things on their menu but i don't even regret it it was so delicious. My partner had the full Irish breakfast and it was divine. I'm not usually a fan of white and black pudding, but these are made in house (we enquired) and taste better than anything you can buy in a shop. Even the bacon and sausage were perfect. It was all very reasonably priced for the quality.

I had the toblerone cheesecake for desert, it was just incredible, I'd be tempted to go back for more. In one way I'm glad Honeycomb is in Clondalkin cause if it was in the centre of town I'd be buying their cheesecake every weekend! Having said that, it's worth a trip out from town to get food there if you have the inclination. I'm not sure if they do catering, but if they do then I'm sure it'd be as delicious.

Definitely worth a try.  Great cakes and breakfast especially.  The toblerone cheesecake is a winner.

Shabby chic decor makes for a lovely interior with a relaxed vibe.

Not what you'd expect in the business centre it's located in, but worth finding, and don't give up when you can't see the entrance!

I like the salads, Irish breakfast, soups, and coffee here. But the reason I come here is for the desserts. The dessert chef is the master of cheesecake and all things cake!

The cafe is cozy, clean, decorated with a vintage theme, and set up for groups or solo visits.

    Helpful, friendly, and courteous staff.

    Available for takeaway.

    Cash and card accepted.

    Good for kids too.

    Private parking area beside cafe.

    I will return :)

Fantastic little cafe hidden away in Dublin West. We stopped here for breakfast today and were really happy with the food and service. Pancakes accompanied with fruit were lovely and light while my wife had the eggs Benedict. They were also super accommodating to our young son who also cleared his own plate so he left very happy too. We've heard great things about the cakes so we'll be back for them soon.
