Standard shopping centre with all the usual shops and amenities.
Lots of parking, restaurants and restroom facilities within the complex

Little bit confusing to get to off the motorway but once you arrive there is everything you should need. Without being in town...

I've been coming here since a young teen and still haven't done a review on Liffey valley!! It has everything you need really except Penneys but a new one is being built and should be ready Ina few months. I can come here and get everything I need at Christmas. The boots is the best I've been in and the dunnes stores too. I do wish the river island would start doing the baby section like town and Dundrum. Food wise it's also great as the food court has endless selection. Downstairs near the cinema you can find nandos, spur steakhouse, Eddie rockets and gourmet burger kitchen. I wouldn't recommend spur it's disgusting and overpriced. The kids will love Liffey valley as it has Pirates village (bouncy castles, activities etc) and it's only 5euro.. Adults are free! There is a long children's train that goes around Liffey valley that they can hop on and get a tour of the place :) .. Was also happy to see they added a Ginos gelato to the centre as I love the ice cream so much :) . Often if I'm going out somewhere fancy il go to Liffey valley and book my makeup at the inglot stall. It's €30 for a full face including lashes and then you get a free lipgloss or powder. I don't like anywhere doing my makeup except inglot as it looks so natural. There's also a sugar dolls nail place that are great. When you come out of the actual shopping centre they have their homestore shops across the way (Harry Corry, PC world, woodies etc) that's it really I could go on and on!

I visited Liffey Valley for the first time a couple of months ago and I have been several times as its not too far from Kilmainham where I live. I didnt know what to expect but it was much nicer than the image I had in my mind. There is a decent selection of clothes shops as well as a decent Dunnes stores and a Marks and Spencer with a terrific foodhall. They are adding a {Penneys which will be a big draw for them.
Parking has always been great when we have gone shopping there. There is a food court as well as a couple of coffee places scattered about. Its not a huge centre but there is enough to keep your interest.

I really like this shopping centre. It's big without being overwhelming, it's clean, lots of food options, a cinema and free parking! The shops that stand out to me are Boots cause it's massive and very tidy and H&M. H&M stretches over two big floors and reminds me of their stores on the continent. They have the all the latest trends as  well as 'the business corner' and even sports gear and underwear. Once your done shopping you can dump all your bags in the car, come back in for some Nando's or Gourmet Burger and catch a movie afterwards, all under one roof. Nice!

I mean. It's large, spacious, clean, centrally located. It has lots of parking, tt's got a good food court with a good choice of nosh, and most of the shops you'd expect in these types of shopping centres.

I would say you are unlikely to find anything ground breaking or different in the shops (they're all general high street), but if that's your bag, then it's defo worth a whirl.

Oh and they have a train that drives around the centre for kids. Kinda cool.

I really love Liffey Valley, I do! It's got great shops and a fantastic layout that makes shopping in the centre easy. It never seems too crowded, although the new children's train they have running through the centre should be interesting at Christmas time going through the Christmas customers...

My first ever expedience of Ireland and interaction with Irish people at all! I'd just got here as an au pair and this is the first place I was taken...

Au pair days are long gone but I still love this place. Not only because it was my first impression of Ireland but because of all the shops, there are so many..

This is just concerning the cinema there. They have several screens and just tend to show mainstream films.

It's a good spot to catch a film as there is a huge car park and several upper scale fast food eating spots. Although when we went last night there was a line outside them so either go early or pick a viewing time that is not that popular, for example don't go to the 7:50pm viewing on a Friday night hungry!

I like coming here for a bit of shopping even though it's slightly out of my way. I never struggle to find parking as the lot it so big. The centre is always clean and tidy. Even with the size of it, I find it's never too crowded when I am in which makes for a much nicer shopping experience. They have quite the selection of shops which makes it a nice one stop shop. I love the huge Dunnes in there as well that has a great selection of housewares, not to mention a great cinema and a super sized Boots.

This is a good decent shopping centre....while there aren't as many shops as i thought there was, there is a good balance of what is needed.  These are most high street store with excellent choice of eateries!! The car parks are huge and it's free.
The pirate village is a great offering for kids, €5 an hour of play time....a great way to burn off the energy!! But be warned, the extra rides incur extra costs and as it is in a "Tent", ensure to wrap up because it can be cold!! But well worth a visit!! Oh and it has a Yankee Candle shop....one of my favourite stores here!!!

If Liffey Valley and Dundrum Town Centre* were to face off against one another, Street Fighter style, I think Liffey Valley would edge it.

I definitely preferred spending a few hour shopping there, than a similar trip to Dundrum. While it doesn't have the sheer number of shops, it was a lot less stressful experience. The whole centre is brighter and more open, so shopping there doesn't feel like being trapped in a maze.  The range of stores is pretty good, and while the food options are only okay, there's more than enough choice to keep you going.

*Dundrum should lose automatically for its obnoxious name. It's not public space, it's a bloody massive shopping centre.

Just arrived in Ireland, for the first time of my life . . . It was kinda late, so instead of doing the tourist things to do, we went to Liffey Valley Shoping Centre.

Walking through the doors, we met Johnny's Irish cousin, Eddy . . . Eddy Rockets that is! After a while it was like we were walking in any mall in the US. Off course there is a difference, but it still had the American feel to it. There was a Food Court with McD, KFC, BK, but also locals like Harry Ramsden's, O'Briens, THE Bagle and others.
There are plenty of stores for those that rather spend their Euro's on all kinds of 'Wanahaves', and during this time of the year (December) there is a cool Ice-skating ring at the mall. For those that rather sit back, watch & relax there is VUE, the movie theater . . .

As far as shopping centres go this place is pretty damn good. This in no way reduces the fact that I must call a spade a spade and say it is still a shopping centre.
I like it because it is simple. it's like a giant aisle. So much easier than the multi level labyrinth that is Dundrum. This place works well for me because it is a straight line! And as I am partial to my fast food this place rocks my socks! Pizza Hut, Eddie Rockets, Gourmet Burger Thingy (Abra Kebebra in disguise), McD's, KFC and Burger King all under oneroof! What else can ya ask for?
The cinema now has these Whopper, yes I'm using the word whopper, seats that ar effectively leather sofas in the centre sections. of each screen that you would be willing to have the ever awkward "could yo guys move up a seat" conversation for!
And then there's the shops, yeah, there's many shops.

I visited Liffey Valley around six years ago to go to the cinema there. As it was late in to the evening at the time I never actually got to venture around so due to lack of knowledge it would have never come to mind when thinking of a Shopping centre.

After spending the day there my eyes have been open to what is has to offer.  It has all the main high street stores for both him and for her. The food hall on the first floor has a lot to offer especially if you are in to fast food. On the ground floor they also have some restaurants including the Spur Steakhouse which is definitely  worth the trip there.

Also a fan of the Vue cinema and the free parking just in front of the centre makes it that bit more appealing.

I go to Liffey Valley often as there are plenty of shops and of course, The Vue Cinema.  Its nice to have everything under one roof.

Car parking can be a bit of a nightmare, they could have done with more spaces...it is free though, so I guess I should complain too much.  There is a large food court on the 1st level which is handy for a quick bite to eat.  Downstairs they have an Eddie Rockets, Gourmet Burger and Spur Steakhouse, plenty of choice depending on your mood.

Shops in LV include HMV, Boots, Gamestop, Next, Awear, Marks, Dunnes and Currys - again, there is plenty of choice and of course all the mobile networks are well represented.

My main knock on Liffey Valley would be some of the shoppers - a real mixed bag as it is just off the M50 but this mixed bag comes with its rotten apples. (I reckon the stock loss in the shops is through the roof!)

Love this cinema.  I love the convenience of being able to preorder tickets and pick them up instead of queueing, the cinemas are very comfortable and I particularly like the trolley service which sells wine! How cool is that.  We had a quick bite in Harry Ramsdens in the shopping centre food hall beforehand, a dander around the shops and then dawdled into the cinema with our prepaid tickets. Be warned the cafes/restaurants get very full with queues, you have been warned.
