This was our spot - space itself has about 3 other venues all tied in under one large room; smokers area, another pub and a wine and spirits shop but we fell in love with this spot, chatted up the bartenders and locals- caught an amazing father/son Trad Duo - they were AH-Mazing! Priced accordingly and the whisky flights and selection were out of this world Again, street parking if you find it or pay parking lots nearby.

What a delightful place! The gentleman working was knowledgeable and helpful. We popped in here around mid-day during the holidays, so we missed out on live music. Inside is warm and cozy, definitely inviting.

The whiskey bar served a delicious Imperial Stout Old Fashioned. The bartender Sophie was delightful and attentive, bright and engaging. Lovely pub atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

      BIANCA
Don't pass this wicked whiskey bar! Bianca was more than just a polite hostess. She was very inviting and showed a novice whiskey fanatic something more than just Jameson. She explained the processes of how the whiskey is made like she worked for the company. I was intimidated about going in, i don't know anything about whiskey other than it taste good but Bianca introduced me to other varieties and why they taste different (when I really can't tell).

Wonderful tasting, did a flight at the advice of Bianka, and she was great with walking us through each whisky and what to look for. A must-see!

      Awesome experience !
Not a real fan of Irish whiskey but you can't spend a trip in Ireland without doing a tasting. Preferred this compared to going to a distillery, amazing range of whiskeys at a great price. Favorite was definitely the 24 year Teeling

If you go to Kilkenny to see the castle and other sites of yesterday, a stop into Dylan's would be a nice way to end the day. Located near John's Bridge, it is a short walk back to the train station, if necessary.
I was unsure of it was named after the poet or the musician (it was), but either way, I wanted in.
The bar has a cozy feel to it with a low ceiling and a wood burning fire place. The bartender and other patrons were all friendly. I sampled a local IPA, O'Hara's and also a local whiskey, Green Spot. Enjoyed them both!

Best Whisky Bar in Kilkenny! Lots of places to drink, but these folks know their Whisky, and have a tremendous assortment to boot. Partial to Redbreast myself, so was amazing to be able to sip it side by side with a few others to contrast and compare. So many good ones that I have never been able to find in the States.

This spot is clearly a local hangout and well worth a stop. They sport a grand selection of whiskeys as well as a decent amount of beers on tap, all for good prices. The bartenders are exceptionally friendly---a trend you'll find throughout Ireland. They even went above and beyond to go to the bar next door to get a cocktail for my finaceé. Traditional Irish pub layout, with few tourists from the look of it, and only a few blocks of the city center.

Lovely and lively little pub!! Stopped by here with the traveling crew had a few drinks and stayed for the live music!

Service was great, the pub is clean, and the bartenders weren't bad ton look at either (wink wink)

If you are in town stop by for a Jameson and ginger!!
